boto3를 통해 Dynamodb에서 PartiQL 실행

소개

작년 11월에 DynamoDB에서 SQL 호환 쿼리 언어 PartiQL을 실행할 수 있습니다.

나는 cli가 아니라 boto3에서 실행할 때의 메모입니다.

실행

boto3 경유로 CREATE TABLE시의 Index의 방법을 잘 모르기 때문에 우선, CREATE TABLE만을 실행하면 Unsupported가 나왔습니다.

botocore.exceptions.ClientError: An error occurred (ValidationException) when calling the ExecuteStatement operation: Unsupported operation: CreateTable

그래서 AWS 콘솔에서 테이블을 생성합니다.


우선 데이터를 INSERT 해 보겠습니다.

boto3를 통해서도 확인할 수 있습니다.

업데이트할 수 있었습니다.
그러나 Key를 지정하지 않고 UPDATE하면 오류가 발생합니다.

요약

Index를 의식하지 않고 Query를 실행할 수 있어 버리기 때문에 조금 불안합니다만, 지금까지의 SQL 인터페이스가 준비되어 있는 것은 좋네요.
